As with all probiotic foods, it may take your system some time to adjust to them. Make sure to introduce cabbage tonic slowly — 1 drop to 1 tsp at a time in stock (that’s not too hot to keep the good bugs alive!) and increase slowly over the course of a few days, paying attention to shifts in how you feel. Cabbage tonic helps to balance the gut biome, which means killing the bad bugs — manage your die-off symptoms and ensure you’re not going too fast by increasing ferments slowly and utilizing detox practices to help your body rebalance.
